According to the latest forecasts in a report from the Halifax Building Society, the UK housing market could well be set to slow down over the coming months. At the time of writing, the average price of a UK house, according to the Halifax, is somewhere in the region of £167,500 and although the market is experiencing a short term combination of rises and falls, the general consensus is that house prices will remain relatively stable throughout the rest of year.  Read more...
